Warmington Almshouses Charitable Trust is a charity that runs 3 almshouses in the village of Warmington Northants. It is run by 6 volunteer trustees and has no paid employees.
The Trust provides housing for single persons who are in need of local housing, originally this was for the elderly but today any applicant will be considered whenever a house becomes vacant and trustees will assess whether they qualify and, in the case of more than one applicant, who is most qualified.
Trustees manage the maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and parts of the gardens.
We encourage anyone who thinks they or someone they know would benefit from becoming a future almshouse resident to email us, write to us, or fill in a registration form.
